Paying Forward: A Farm Boy Gives Back In Gratitude

This is one of those feel good stories about a young man who went right out of high school into the Army during World War II. Coming out of the war, he was grateful to, of all people, his Drill Sergeant, who helped a boy become a man. The young man wanted to "pay the Sgt. back" in some way and the Sgt. said, "just PAY IT FORWARD". Do what you can to help your Buddies after the war. As a result of this admonition, John Lang became a V.A. Doctor. And he found romance and the leadership of God in the process.
