The purpose of this devotional is to usher you from salvation todiscipleship. What if I were to tell you that salvation is only the rst step in this new exciting life? God s desire is for us to followJesus s model of faith, humility and integrity. The word discipleis de ned as a follower or a student of a teacher. The Apostles,those 12 men who were Jesus closest students are commonlyreferred to as the disciples . Our purpose here is to celebrate youcoming to Jesus and to lay out some practical steps that pointthe way to becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ. These stepsare encapsulated in 3 actions: repent, submit, and obey.
