Passing the Baton

Like anything in life being as prepared as you can will produce great benefit, which is why I decided to share my experiences in effort to prepare you in the care of your loved one in this volume of the series. In my intention to prepare you for what to expect, I do not want to frighten you or to deflate your heart. As a direct person, through my pen, and in my care, I am direct with my gentleness, or I am directly gentle. This is a term I use as I witness how macho men receive a baby or how one subdues their self to help an elderly or frail person. They become what I call directly gentle. In being directly gentle, my goal is to expose you to my experiences so that you can know what possibly to expect and, as a result, be better prepared in the care journey of your loved one. Please keep that in mind as we continue down this path. I am here with you and have been through what you are going through.
