Having survived an almost fatal attack in Cuba, Detective Jackson Benett and, fianc , Ivy Lynn Kasey, now back on the mainland and expecting a baby, attempt to carry on their lives in hopes of happily ever after. But still haunted by the shadows of the recent past, moving forward proves harder than either of them ever anticipated.
