Orchids of Australia

Published by UNSW Press and the Orchid Society of New South Wales, the ""Orchids of Australia 2006 Desk Diary"" includes all Australian public and school holidays, calendars for 2006 and 2007, as well as a 2007 yearly planner. The artwork in this diary was first published by UNSW Press in 2002 in the 308-page collector's edition Orchids of Australia, co-written by David P. Banks and John J. Riley and masterfully illustrated by Riley. One hundred and fifty species are covered in that volume, including both terrestrial and epiphytic orchids from all parts of Australia. The work has become a benchmark in Australian botanical and artistic circles, combining the most up-to-date nomenclatural treatment of Australia's indigenous orchids with superb, highly detailed, full-colour botanical illustrations.
