My story begins with a cry for love when I found the people I loved had abandoned me. Married for 17 years in an abusive relationship and entrapped but in 2006 became free from this trap. I became a single mother to my children from the marriage when they were 14 and 12, we were a very close family and did everything together but as they got in their late teens to 20's life took a different turn. In Autumn 2015 my children decided not to talk to me because they were not getting their own way and their father had turned them against me. The experience was very painful and I spent many months in tears and prayer with the hope that things will change. I was praying for two important things - a relationship with my children and a man in my life, the most pressing was my children whom I love unconditionally. As many attempts to communication with them failed my pressing need became apparent for a companion. I am a Christian and believe in prayers and seeking God in everything I do Proverbs 3:6 "seek God's will in all you do and He will show you which path to take". I prayed and fasted to seek God for the other half as He did not create man alone but saw that it was good to create a companion. I went on a retreat for a week in Scotland in June 2016 where the theme was "Hearing God's Voice" and spend a lot of time in God's presence. Two and half weeks after returning from Scotland I got an email from a Christian Dating Website called Christian Single Mix which I had been a member of for over a year but not met anyone who I was convince to be the one, the email presented an answer to my prayers. The profile of this person was like the other half of me and got me taking a deep breath as you would. The encounter is what I am going to share with you in this book. Read on to uncover how this encounter of my cry for love unfolds. What you will read in this book includes communications that happened during the encounter recorded word for word as most of it were through emails and text messaging. The emails are in chronological order and need to be referred to where it states to get more insight. You will also see some documents, website links for video clips and music links on Youtube that were exchanged during the relationship, I will encourage you to watch and listen to them as you will experience the reality as to why I decided to publish these events. You will also find that later on correspondence source changed and I am being known as Peace, this is because we are now communicating on WhatsApp and my username is Peace. I would also like to inform that during the process I was much closer to God, more prayerful, fasted and waited on God. I was kept very busy and the sadness about my children was no longer an issue. A lot about myself will be revealed as you read this book so don't be concerned I have not told you much about myself as I don't want to be repetitive. This book requires a bit of detective work and wisdom of understanding so I pray that God will reveal to you what He wants you to take out of it. I feel the purpose of this book is to bring awareness of the current climate we are living in. In conclusion, I am more stronger in the Lord although the enemy tried to test my faith. It is All Well.
