On Translating Homer

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Instead of moving on without check, as in reading the original, the reader twice finds himself, in read lug the translation, brought up and checked. Homer moves with the same simplicity and rapidity in the highly-wrought as in the simple passage.
