On the Write Track: Beginning Literacy and Academic Skills

On the Write Track gives students who are new to English, the opportunity to acquire the basic skills of reading and writing, so they can function independently in the regular classroom by challenging them to tackle basic literacy, interpersonal English language skills, and academic content. It teaches students valuable skills such as reading charts, graphs, and world maps; solving mathematical problems; thinking critically; measuring length and perimeter; and even conducting a science project.
