On Listening

Chinese have worship for ear. According to the traditional folk tale Ten Brothers, the eldest was Thousand-Mile Eye and the second brother was Wind-Accompanying Ear. Ear was ranked at the second place, nearly at the top of the list. The ancient Ba-Shu culture also focused on ear. Many bronze head sculptures and masks unearthed from Sanxingdui are with the feature of big ear. It seemingly implies to get more information.
