Colorectal cancer is a prevalent illness that strikes individuals across various age groups, genders, and socioeconomic statuses globally. This book has contributed to our ongoing study of biomarker signatures and key pathways associated with colorectal cancer. Within these pages, you'll find a wealth of information and the aim of our research was categorized into two phases. Phase I describes brief criteria followed for the selection of plant material (leaf extracts) and analytical tools employed to isolate secondary metabolites from crude extracts. Phase II narrates the application of secondary metabolites to in silico studies using Bioinformatics tools and software engaged during the entire study. All of them are described in their corresponding chapters. Each chapter is designed to empower readers with knowledge, equipping them with the tools necessary to carry out research.
