Akira Kawamoto, who has recently retired from Japanese government, writes on current Japanese economy and policies of Abenomics, based on his experiences and insights. While working for investment business now, he teaches on the subject at Keio University in Tokyo as Project Professor at Economics Faculty. He argues, while reform momentum created by the current Abe administration is substantial, there are risks that progress can be ultimately stalled.
