New Developments in Long COVID: Pathophysiology, prevention, and innovative therapies

Long COVID is more than just a medical buzzword-it has become a global syndrome affecting millions of people and fundamentally changing our understanding of infectious diseases, chronic health consequences, and societal resilience. This book offers a comprehensive, scientifically sound, and yet generally understandable presentation of the latest findings on Long COVID. It sheds light on the diverse pathophysiological mechanisms - from viral persistence to autoimmunity and vascular damage to neurological changes and microbiome disorders.
