Myocardial Revascularization

The inflammatory reaction is induced by the cardiopulmonary bypass used in heart surgery. The inflammatory condition, when severe, causes important cardiovascular alterations with severe arterial vasodilation, myocardial depression and consequent severe low output. In this book, the author evaluates the results of hemodynamic, gasometric and immunomolecular variables in patients undergoing myocardial revascularization using methylene blue in a prospective clinical study.
