My Visit from a Demon

He and his followers will wait patiently and suddenly tempt us when we are depressed or most vulnerable. My Visit from a Demon is about temptation, the struggle of an elderly man to resist a unique and enticing offer made by a powerful group of demons, represented by their messenger, the small but deceptive demon TIME. It is about the consequences of the author's vain and arrogant decision to willingly enter into a contest with the demons. He is duly warned by the Holy Spirit that this is a deadly contest where he must properly and faithfully represent his God-or he will succumb to theirs.The story takes us back from July 2025 to December 31, 1916, the eve of our entry into World War I. The tale includes the Armenian genocide of 1894-1924, a long-forgotten invasion of Russia in 1918, the Greco-Turkish War of 1919-1922, and a German battleship that changed the course of world history. President William Howard Taft, William Jennings Bryan, and twenty-nine other prominent Americans play important parts. The story is of several true events (and horrible mistakes) of the prior century, both obscure and well-known, which combined to shape the world we now live in. This tale is unlike any you have read before.
