My Faith, My Shield

We all battle something at one point in time or another. Some of us are aware of the wars raging within us. Fighting our inner battles can help us to be who we are truly meant to be. As a teenager, I was medically diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa. After years of proper medical care and being determined to do the hard work to stay in recovery, I can say that I am healed. This is my journey to healing and the fight to stay there. It all began with this: "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." James 4:8 So if I have been given knowledge in a way that can truly help another on their own healing journey, it is my duty to share it. The battles are fierce, especially when the enemy is seeking to search and destroy. The enemy lays dormant for some time, then strikes again when we least expect it. The enemy is clever and knows the art of war. The enemy is lying in wait for us to fall, but we have a greater power. Are you ready for this battle?
