Mum, I Don't Like Peas!

The "e;negotiations"e; are the greatest concept of a young child, and when they successfully navigate a situation to their advantage, they experience a deep sense of accomplishment and joy, celebrating their small but significant victories. A young girl presents her perspective to her mother, explaining her feelings and reasoning on why she doesn't want to eat her peas. The encouraging mother stands firm in her belief and does not back down. She wants her daughter to try new things before forming an opinion and to understand the value of exploration and open-mindedness. In the end, one of them will have to compromise.
