Motivation, Influence, Manipulation: American Film and Media

Nowadays, everybody is influenced more or less by media. Beginning with the childhood period, we build our identities based on the environment that surrounds us. However, what people don't know is that media is an important element that takes part of our environments and it can have an enormous impact on us. Trough the process of media we encounter new cultures, changing the way we see the world, we choose our models and build our identities using them. But, the main attribute that media possess is access to information. And here begins my research.
