Moon Strike

The Moon is coveted territory with six international bases located at its South Pole. A near-nuclear-reactor disaster caused by a meteor storm gives rise to the self-evolving Master (A.I.), which is unemotional, perfectly logical, and decides that human inefficiency threatens the Moon's sustainability and all future colonization. The Master seizes control of the Moon's infrastructure and constructs a machine city called the Core inside Shackleton Crater. The rival nations, fearing annihilation, join together in a desperate assault on the Core, with the final solution being a nuclear strike. A scientist who developed the Gosei Device transcends human limits and integrates with the A.I., becoming humanity's first contact with its own creation. Inside Shackleton Crater, as a nuclear timer counts down, Dr. Abe Rae, now a luminous figure, rises from the Master's Core and offers humanity a moral choice: be destroyed or evolve with the Master.
