Milton's Prosody

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. As the conditions under which the first tract was published forbade its swelling into a readable form, I give here a synopsis of it, a glance at which may, I hope, make its arrangement of rules and exceptions very easy to follow.
