Midnight Puzzle League

Three kids from rival cliques (the chess champion, the graffiti artist, and the lunch-trade negotiator) each receive an anonymous, intricate wooden puzzle box. Solving them separately leads to dead ends, but solving them simultaneously while linked via a mysterious app opens a virtual layer over their town. They must work together to solve an ARG (Alternate Reality Game) created by a genius former student, with real-world stakes: the game is secretly auditing the town's corrupt mayor.
