MicroRNA Expression Analysis in Urothelial Bladder Carcinoma

Epigenetics in the carcinogenesis of human tumors has become increasingly important, being associated with tumor initiation and progression. Epigenetic mechanisms involved in the tumor process of Bladder Cancer may be directly related to the behavior and aggressiveness of the disease, and directly associated with survival outcomes. In this context, microRNAs play a fundamental role and can control various phases of the carcinogenic process of urothelial bladder carcinoma.
