Matthew the New Yorker

The book is a story about a guy that is originally from Up State New York. With his family gone, he comes to North Platte in order to start a new life. His reason for choosing North Platte is based upon another soldier that he had meet in Viet Nam, and had shared with Matthew that North Platte was a good town to grow up in.
