Mathematics in the Caribbean

The current volume is a collection of contributions presented at the AMATES–ICMAM Workshop for Central America and the Caribbean 2025. The workshop was organized by the Mathematical Association of El Salvador (AMATES) and ICMAM Centro, a consortium of mathematical associations from Central America working, with the support of ICMAM Latin America, toward the advancement of mathematics in the region. This volume contains selected contributions by mathematicians from Central America and the Caribbean, in several areas of mathematics, reflecting the strength, diversity, and growing development of mathematical research, particularly in El Salvador and Honduras. This book has been dedicated to Carlos Canjura, founder and former president of AMATES (Mathematical Association of El Salvador), for a lifetime dedicated to promoting mathematical education and advancing mathematical research in El Salvador.
