This is Volume XI of the twenty-one in the Race, Class and Social Structure series, which looks at the theory of the 'marginal man', the situation and using a 'marginalised' group for study in Durban, South Africa. This expands to include politics, the participation in organised associations and also the links between the marginal situation and psychological marginality.
