Marcello's Promise

In 1915, Marcello Corsi risks everything and leaves Italy to forge a new life for his family in America. Marcello, Luisa, and their young son settle in Cumberland, Wyoming, in an immigrant coalmining town run by Union Pacific Coal Company. Full of determination they face the harsh life in the frontier town blizzards, labor disputes, brawling cowboys, ethnic tension and the dangers of coalmining set in the era of Prohibition.
