Manticore's Maiden

Laura is a manticore who is headed to battle in a large war. However she was not always like this many years ago she was a human who served the royalty of Talesworth keep. She is bound by a bracelet which controls her actions. She was their slave, assassin, and guard. Known as the Talesworth's ghost for the many centuries she inhabited the keep and her ability to disappear at a moment's notice. She yearns to be free from the bracelet but only watches as it is traded from master to master.
