Lost In The System

When I was born my "mother" didn't want me, and that completely changed the course of my life. This book is my story and how growing up in the broken foster care system has left a long lasting impact and how it has effected some of my decisions. I faced constant rejection, a very unstable education, and even many relationship issues. This system that is in place to protect neglected and abused children clearly isn't the most "effective" for neglected and abused children. All it does is expose us to different trauma and suffering, and expects us to survive and strive on our own when we turn 18. This is MY story, and it takes place in the mind of a child-very unique in it's own way.
