Looking Backward

Looking Backward is a classic utopian science fiction novel written by the American author Edward Bellamy. The book tells the story of a young American in 1887 who falls asleep and wakes up in the year 2000. Looking Backward, on top of predicting an improved future society, served as a great social commentary of the late 19th century.
