Long River of Stars

This book selects a total of 39 heroes who have an important influence in Tangshan and even the whole country, who died heroically in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation and the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, as well as model workers who made outstanding contributions in socialist construction to compile a book for readers. It aims to review the glorious history of the masses of people in Tangshan, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, for the national liberation and the prosperity of the motherland; to promote the noble sentiments of revolutionary heroes and model figures who are firm in their beliefs, brave and fearless, sacrifice their lives, and are willing to make sacrifices; to inspire the people of the city not to forget their original aspirations, keep their mission in mind, and continue their struggles to open up a new situation for Tangshan's reform, opening up and modernization in a new era.
