“Locked in a Cupboard” is my story — the one they never wanted you to hear.

I was a respected and highly thought of police officer. I believed in justice. But when I spoke out about corruption and wrongdoing, the system I served turned on me. I was falsely accused, betrayed by colleagues I once trusted, and left to face a brutal fight for my sanity, left alone, “locked in a cupboard” out of sight, out of mind by the very institution I gave my life to.

This book isn’t just about what happened to me — it’s about what CAN happen to anyone at any point in their life inside an institution where truth is inconvenient and loyalty is weaponised. It’s about the crushing mental toll of being isolated, disbelieved, and driven to the brink.

I produced this book because it matters. Institutional corruption flourishes in silence. False allegations destroy lives. And the mental health impact of betrayal is too often dismissed or ignored.
