Literary Reading for Secondary SchooL Students

This book is written for secondary school students with selections of 70 poems of the Tang dynasty, including the poems of eight lines and four lines, pre-Tang poems, and Yuefu poems. Each of the Tang poems is affiliated with four parts, "e;solution"e;, "e;translation"e;, "e;notes"e; and "e;appreciation"e;, to show students poetry background, explain allusions, and help students master the intent of writing and thinking in each chapter. The preface ("e;An elementary introduction of Tang poem reading method"e;) introduces the detailed structure analysis and artistic creation method, and can be regarded as effective Tang poetry reading methods and guidelines for students. The translation of the poems in this book focuses on "e;faithfulness"e; and "e;expressiveness"e;, with special focus on the syllables, making each translated poem a catchy new one. "e;Appreciation"e; part begins with analyzing each verse differently for the purpose of appreciation, creating a lot of innovative ideas. The above two points could be considered as the book's uniqueness.In addition, this is a revised version, with the format being reset, and the character and knowledge errors in the former version being corrected.
