Lessing's Nathan the Wise

IN the following pages will be found a translation from the German of Gotthold Ephraim Leasing of Nathan the Wise one of the author's most widely known dramatic compositions. The story is an entertaining one and holds the reader's interest to the close, although the ending is some what disappointing.
