Thirst Leaves with the River tells of the flow of existence and nature along the river Nauyaca, a place nestled in the mountains, where only water and wind dare visit. It is there that Jerem as disappeared, the man who secretly stores the bejuco firewater that breathes some life into the people of the region.

Jerem as is lost, same as the whole town, only seeking to ease his thirst in the middle of this living landscape, where human is remote.
