9.16 Et il en fut toujours ainsi la nu e la couvrait le jour, et le feu la nuit.

9:16 So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

9:17 Et quand la nu e fut enlev e de la tente, les enfants d'Isra l partirent apr s cela, et dans le lieu o demeurait la nu e, les enfants d'Isra l dress rent leurs tentes.

9:17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.

9.18 Sur l'ordre de l' ternel, les enfants d'Isra l se mirent en route, et sur l'ordre de l' ternel, ils dress rent; tant que la nu e demeura sur la tente, ils se repos rent dans leurs tentes.

9:18 At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.

9:19 Et comme la nu e s'arr ta longtemps sur la tente pendant plusieurs jours, les enfants d'Isra l gard rent la charge de l' ternel, et ne march rent point.

9:19 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.

9:20 Et il en fut ainsi, lorsque la nu e fut quelques jours sur le tabernacle; Ils habit rent dans leurs tentes selon l'ordre de l' ternel, et ils voyage rent selon l'ordre de l' ternel.

9:20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.

9:21 Et il en fut ainsi, lorsque la nu e demeura depuis le matin jusqu'au matin, et que la nu e fut enlev e le matin, alors ils se mirent en route; soit c'est le jour ou la nuit que la nu e fut enlev e, ils voyageaient.

9:21 And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.

9:22 Ou bien, soit qu'il y ait eu deux jours, soit un mois, soit qu'une ann e ait dur que la nu e s'arr ta sur le tabernacle, et qu'elle y demeure, les enfants d'Isra l demeur rent dans leurs tentes, et ne firent pas de voyage; mais, quand elle fut prise, ils se mirent en route.

9:22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
