Kaghazi hai Pairahan (Humorous Essays) (Editionfirst)

Dr. Rasheed Mosavi (Born: 9-June 1935) is a prominent researcher and writer of Hyderabad. She received her Ph.D degree by writing a thesis on the topic of "Deccan mein Marsiya aur Azadari". Along with criticism and research, she has also made a breakthrough in the field of humor. According to Mujtaba Hussain, the name of Rasheed Mosavi comes first among the women who started writing humor in the beginning of Zinda Dilan-e-Hyderabad (sixth decade of the twentieth century). The humorous essays included in her book "Kaghazi hai Pairahan" can be considered as high examples of humor.

ڈاکٹر رشید موسوی (پیدائش 9/جون 1935ء) حیدرآباد کی ممتاز محقق اور ادیب رہی ہیں۔ انہوں نے "دکن میں مرثیہ اور عزاداری" کے موضوع پر مقالہ لکھ کر پی۔ایچ۔ڈی کی ڈگری حاصل کی تھی۔ تنقید و تحقیق کے ساتھ انہوں نے طنز و مزاح کے میدان میں بھی خامہ فرسائی کی ہے۔ بقول مجتبیٰ حسین، زندہ دلانِ حیدرآباد کے آغاز (بیسویں صدی کی چھٹی دہائی) میں جن خواتین نے طنز و مزاح لکھنا شروع کیا ان میں رشید موسوی کا نام سرفہرست آتا ہے۔ ان کی کتاب "کاغذی ہے پیرہن" میں شامل مزاحیہ مضامین طنز و مزاح کے اعلیٰ نمونے قرار دئے جا سکتے ہیں۔
