Love Murder Politics Kidnapping Alaska State Senator, Nicholas Marshall, finds love on a flight from Chicago to Alaska with a very mysterious woman, Loren Logan. It's the proverbial case of love at first sight. Suddenly the senator's political associates start turning up dead wherever Loren happens to be, and Nick wonders why the sight of the bloodied bodies don't seem to upset her as it would most women. Kidnappers capture Loren and send Nicholas a two million dollar ransom demand for her safe return. Nick's son, Josh, a homicide detective, and his partner, Rowdy, work on solving the cases, but Josh is distracted by a local television reporter who volunteers at the nursing home as a Candy Stripper, and serves as his comatose wife's care keeper . . . Annie is also Loren Logan's daughter. All good reasons for Josh to ignore the strong attraction he has to her and to deny the fact that he's falling in love with her. Is it all a coincidence, or a clever master plan to ruin the senator's political career, or ... worse... end the senator's life?
