Jazz Sessions Alto Saxophone

Jazz Sessions Alto Saxophone comprises a mixed compilation of 10 standards and original pieces spanning a host of jazz variations including blues, swing, Latin and gospel. This contemporary mix includes Fly Me To The Moon, Stompin’ at the Savoy and C Jam Blues, and includes a second, extended version of each piece for improvisation. Online audio of professional, accoustic backing tracks to help create a truly atmospheric performance. 

Jazz Sessions Series is a collaboration between Alexander L’Estrange, a composer, arranger, jazz double bass player, and jazz examiner for the ABRSM, and composer, jazz pianist and teacher, Tom Pilling. The book is carefully tailored for players of Intermediate level (Grades 4-5), and ideal preparation for ABRSM jazz exams, or simply for fun!
