It's Just Dyslexia

It’s Just Dyslexia is a book that can be used as a tool for counselors, teachers, parents and students.  It addresses the disorder called “dyslexia” and some of the effects on children as they learn and develop.  Its impact is significant, not only in the acquisition of academic skills for success in school, but on the emotional and psychological state of the child.  Hopefully, more understanding and an effective pedagogy customized to meet the needs of these children can continue to develop.  The purpose of this book is to provide:

          -information regarding some characteristics of dyslexia,

          -assistance with the management of the disorder,

          -support and compassionate understanding of the effects of

            the disorder and

          -encouragement to meet the challenges of the condition.

With a supportive salute and encouraging note, I dedicate this book to all the children who struggle with the written word:  “Never give up on yourself, IT’S JUST DYSLEXIA.”
