Irainilai Adaiya Yosanaigal - Thirukkural

This form of poetry was written by the divine poet, Thiruvalluvar Perunthakai, in couplets before 2,000 years as guidance for all citizens of the world.

Human life is a challenge because God has given five senses to human beings--seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and sensing. Desire for the earth, for wealth, for materials and lust; everybody leads life to fulfill one or more of these desires. As long as we are stuck in these temporary requirements, we may not be able to uplift our soul, which is permanent.

Irainilai Adaiya Yosanaigal - Thirukkural is a model code for individuals to lead their day-to-day lives. One can regulate his/her attitude, behavior and purpose in life as per the guidance found in the book. The author has given descriptions/narrations of the poems in contemporary Tamil language.
