The International Legal Regime Relating to Marine Protected Areas in Areas beyond National Jurisdiction identifies the 'participatory', 'competence' and 'geographical' gaps in the international legal regime relating to marine protected areas (MPAs) in areas beyond national jurisdiction (ABNJ) and provides insight into how to address these gaps.
