Integrated Project Control

Integrated Project Control deals with project management standards as an integrated part of a framework of standards covering the total information technology (IT) life-cycle. Various aspects of integrated project control are examined, with emphasis on the IT projects of commercial organizations. Comprised of three parts, this book begins by discussing the overall corporate IT management framework and project management of development/procurement projects. It describes a "e;"e;model"e;"e; or "e;"e;logical"e;"e; framework that addresses the management requirements of all stages of the IT life-cycle as well as the direction, control, and coordination across the life-cycle. It considers the role of project management within the overall framework that can be used as a model for the future against which any company can assess its performance.
