India; What Can It Teach

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. I have had but few alterations and corrections to make in this new edition of my Lectures on India, which I had the honour to, deliver before the University of Cambridge in the year 1882. I do not mean to say that my Lectures have not been attacked and criticised, but though I always feel grateful for any suggestions emanating from honest and impartial judges, I am not able in every case to accept their decision or to follow their advice.
