In verantwortlichen Händen

In den europäischen Zivilisationen sind Teilhaberechte und Chancengleichheit wichtige ethische Orientierungen, um Gerechtigkeit im Zusammenleben von Mensch, Mitmensch und Umwelt zu gewährleisten. Was aber ist mit denen, die dauerhaft oder vorübergehend objektiv nicht in der Lage sind, Chancen oder Rechte wahrzunehmen?Nach zweijähriger Arbeit an einer Ethik für hiervon betroffene Gerechtigkeitssubjekte legt eine Projektgruppe der Wissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft für Theologie Ergebnisse aus verschiedensten Anwendungsfeldern wie Kinderrechtsethik, Disability Studies, Tierethik u.a. vor. Der so umrissene theologische Gerechtigkeitsbegriff wird durch philosophische, erziehungswissenschaftliche und juristische Beiträge der interdisziplinären und internationalen Projektgruppe weiter profiliert.[In Responsible Hands. But what about those who are permanently or temporarily unable to take opportunities or exercise rights?This volume documents the results of a biennial project group of the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Theologie dealing with a capability ethics of justice in fields as different as, among others, children''s rights, disability studies and animal ethics. The proposed theological concept of justice is further explored in interdisciplinary and international collaboration with the philosophical, pedagogical, and juridical expertises that are also represented in the project group and in this volume.
