Lucien LaArgent, a necromancer skilled in navigating the Ethereal, is drawn into a chilling mystery when a grieving mother calls him to a haunted house in Nova Scotia. What begins as a routine case of restless spirits quickly spirals into a battle against a malevolent force. Back in Montreal, Zara, owner of The Moonlight Hours nightclub, is reeling from the brutal murders of two young lovers tied to her club. When Lucien returns, they uncover a sinister connection to a masked figure known as the Mind Doctor, whose horrifying experiments defy the boundaries of life and death. As dark forces converge, Lucien and Zara must race to uncover the truth before the Mind Doctor claims more lives.
