In the Land of Myth

This is a new collection of poems by the author of In the Twilight and his novel Purgatorio.

These verses hark back to the golden dawn of a flowering Greece, to celebrate a unity of nature, to give rein to our spiritual yearnings and sense of discovery, letting the divine minstrel, Orpheus, enchant us with the euphoric strains of his hymns, allow us to imagine the hypnotic effect of the sounding of his harp and make us long ever more ardently for this wondrous land of sagacity and myth.

Bernard Kuckuck is a Canadian author who lives in the French-speaking province of Quebec. He also writes poetry in several other languages and is especially motivated to explore those eras that had a deeply rooted effect on the flowering of our civilization.
