In a Maze of Imagination

Carmen Trahan has given herself two days to decide how to handle her latest family dilemma. Torn between the needs of her pregnant teen-aged sister and her ailing parents, Carmen leaves town to examine her choices in solitude. It doesn't take long for her to realize that she has removed herself from the only person she trusts to give her the advice she needs. In the moment she wishes she could talk to Oleg Fuentes, she pictures him by her side on the hot sand of Lofton Beach. This first imagined conversation starts Carmen on the dark path that guides her toward her decision.
