Illusions

After the death of his partner, Bryan McNair leaves the Chicago PD to head up the Detective division of his Kansas hometown, expecting it to be a dull job. He soon learns he has made a stupid assumption; the white spot of the nation has some dirty edges. Charlotte Gray is struggling to establish her dance studio as a paying business, and despite her past history with Bry, wants nothing to do with the hard man he has become. When a series of brutal murders occurs and Charlotte is targeted as the next victim, Bry is forced to become her protector. Can he catch a cold-blooded murderer before it's too late?
