Hundred Years of New Territories Street

Since the construction of Tai Po Road in 1989, the road network in the New Territories has been developing continuously. After decades of years, trunk lines, tunnels and new towns have been growing and changing. Understanding how rural life in the New Territories has evolved from generation to generation, whether it is a party or an onlooker, will marvel at these changes. Series introduction: On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Sanlian Bookstore's predecessor Life Bookstore, Sanlian has launched the Hong Kong Classic Series, which has selected more than 20 Hong Kong-themed books published over the years, rearranged them into smaller ones, lowered their prices, and expanded the readership of good books that have been out of print for many years.The editor's inspiration came from the triad library published by Sanlian bookstore at 50th anniversary.This series has been published in pocket book form following the "e;Yanbo Library"e;. Up to now, more than eighty publications have been published. Hong Kong Classic Series began with A Hundred Years of Hong Kong Island Street, A Hundred Years of Kowloon Street and A Hundred Years of New Territories Street.This series elaborates the development of Hong Kong streets in the past century with precious old photographs, triggering a trend of local research.Also to be published will be Hong Kong History Postcard Select, Hong Kong Photo Album, Hong Kong Bus, Hong Kong Folk Customs Series (including Dajiao-Hong Kong Festivals and Local Society), Hong Kong Empress Worship, Hong Kong Wong Tai Sin Faith, and Gong Theatre in Hong Kong:Cantonese Opera and Chao opera & Fulao Opera, which are quite exciting.
