Document from the year 2002 in the subject Leadership and Human Resources - Miscellaneous, Vaxjo University, course: Seminar, language: English, abstract: This paper is a reflection on today's and tomorrow's organizations. After having read our course material, readings and assisted to our various classes, we have tried to answer the main question for this mini-paper. We have no pretension on presenting the ways to manage organizations, but simply see what is happening and what is likely to take place in the future (to have a "e;healthy"e; organization). Our task presented one important challenge because we had to find an original angle to base our analysis and reflection on. We decided to study the possible balance between humans and technology. We therefore focused on "e;virtual organizations"e;. Doing so, we quickly understood that, we were drawing the picture of what one could call a "e;perfect"e; organization. We do not think there is such an organization, but there are sources of inspiration. The interesting aspect in such a study is that new questions were constantly arising. The main limit, we were confronted to, was to stay within 7 pages. There is so much that can be discussed and thought of with this question.
