The book emphasizes on the regional anatomy instead of systemic anatomy. Regional anatomy combined with dissection of that particular part would give a comprehensive idea of that area, which is very important to a surgeon. Instead of describing individual cranial bones, carpals and tarsals, the skull as whole and skeletons of hand and foot are described. Most of the statements made in the text are supported by photographs of dissected specimens, line-drawn figures, radiographs and magnetic resonance images. This will make it easy for the students in understanding Anatomy rather than memorizing it. Emphasis has been given to clinical anatomy so that the students can appreciate various pathological conditions and deformities in relation to body structures.
